Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how Waraq Labs ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Dua Widget Android application (the "app"). The short version: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information about you.
Information we do not collect
- The app has no accounts, sign-ins, or user profiles.
- The app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
- The app does not access your contacts, location, photos, files, or any other personal data.
- The app does not send any information that identifies you or your device.
How the app works
When you first open the app (and when you manually refresh it), Dua Widget downloads its collection of duas from our content server at duas.waraqlabs.com, hosted on Cloudflare. These requests are handled anonymously: the download contains no information about you, and nothing is sent back to us other than the standard technical details of any HTTP request (such as your IP address), which our hosting provider may log for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to identify or profile users.
Data stored on your device
The dua collection and your preferences — such as which duas you have starred as favorites and which dua each widget is showing — are stored in a local database on your device. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.
Permissions
The app requests a single permission: Internet, used solely to download the dua collection described above.
Third-party services
The dua content is hosted on Cloudflare. When the app downloads content, Cloudflare processes that request subject to its own privacy policy. No other third-party services are involved.
Children's privacy
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and is safe for all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
